Compost Activator

BioTreat CA20 accelerates the breakdown processes, minimising the time taken for complete digestion. BioTreat CA20 also generates increased temperatures (up to 60oC -75oC). This increased temperature inactivates weed seeds, human and animal pathogens, and viruses and accelerates degradation of cellulose and lignin from plant materials. The accelerated process prevents foul odours and creates nutrient rich humus in the shortest possible time.

BioTreat CA20 comprises a proprietary blend of naturally occurring microbes, enzymes, nutrients and growth stimulants.

Suggested Application

For application of dry product directly to compost area:

• For first application use 500g. of BioTreat CA20 to 2 cubic metres of organic matter
• Apply liberally when initially preparing compost pile then water thoroughly
• Mix woodchips with very fine waste to increase aeration
• Reapply during turning time one week later using 500-250g. of product to 2 cubic metres
• Most effective when soil temperatures range 10-40oC

  For application of liquid product directly to compost area:

• In small areas dilute concentrate at a rate of 1 litres of product to 20 litres of water
• Apply 5 litre of mix to 1 cubic metre organic matter using 5-25 litre hand spray tank
• In large areas dilute concentrate at a rate of 2 litres of product to 40 litres of water
• Apply to 40 cubic metres or more using a large capacity spray tank with orchid gun
• Reapply during turning time one week later
• Most effective when soil temperatures range 10- 40oC

Storage and Disposal

• Shelf Life: dry - 2 years, liquid - 12 months.
• Keep container tightly closed.
• Store in original container.
• Store in a cool dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
• Dispose in accordance with national, state, and local regulations.
