Biochemical Oxygen Release System
- BioTreat OR200 is an innovative biochemical
oxygen release system. OR200's biochemical slow
release oxygen system has been developed to enhance
a range of bioremediation applications.
The BioTreat OR200 system provides a continuous supply
of oxygen to many oxygen-dependent processes such as
composting, bioremediation of greases, oils and wastewater
treatments. It is extremely useful for processes where
mechanical aeration is not easily available or feasible.
The system impedes hydrogen sulphide odours, as well
as other volatile odours, in municipal wastewater treatment
plants by enhancing the aerobic reaction and the stabilisation
of pH. The system also suppresses the formation of new
hydrogen sulphide by curbing anaerobic processes. Due
to its slow release properties, the system controls
odours over an extended period of time with a single
application.
